And the Oscar goes to...
The official Oscar gift basket is the stuff of swag legend. Companies and products vie for inclusion by the Academy - which doesn't officially release the contents until deliciously close to the big night. This year we've learned that nominees like Charlize Theron, George Clooney and the lucky rest will receive, among other goodies: a $25,000 package from the Halekulani hotel in Waikiki, a voucher for a $600 Krups espresso machine with illy cups, a $1,495 cashmere Frette blanket, a $1,300 pearl-and-diamond TARA necklace, an $800 certificate from Ajne for a private blending session to create the celeb's signature scent and Paige Premium Denim jeans.
